Recently, thanks to the favorable momentum created by the new national bond policy, Beijing Lanshan International Apartment’s project to replace its aging elevators has been successfully completed. As a well-established community in Tongzhou, Beijing, the Lanshan International Apartments has seen some of its elevators operating for many years, leading to issues such as equipment aging and declining operational efficiency. These problems not only affect residents’ daily commutes but also pose potential safety hazards. The new national bond policy, which focuses on addressing people’s livelihood needs, provides strong support for the renovation and upgrading of aging elevators. Zhong'ao Elevator has actively responded to the policy call and is deeply involved in the project construction.
From the initial on-site investigation and customized solution design to elevator manufacturing, installation, and commissioning, the Zhong'ao Elevator team has carried out meticulous operations throughout the entire process. Specifically tailored elevator products have been configured to suit the residential density and architectural characteristics of the community.
The new elevators will strictly adhere to the requirements for replacing old elevators with new ones under the new national bond program: the car walls, car doors, and landing door panels will all be 1.5 mm thick; the counterweight blocks will be made entirely of cast iron; and the wheels will also be entirely cast iron. The elevators will feature a highly efficient and energy-saving drive system to reduce daily operating energy consumption. They will be equipped with multiple safety protection devices, such as an emergency rescue system and anti-pinch door mechanisms, providing all-around protection for passenger safety. At the same time, the car design has been optimized to enhance both the comfort and aesthetic appeal of the interior space, making it easier and more convenient for elderly people, children, and other groups to use the elevators.
